The rules of the road.
Last updated May 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Iris mobile application and the Iris Pro subscription (collectively, the “Service”), provided by Pinnacle Parameters. By installing or using Iris, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
1. The Service
Iris is an unofficial, third-party mobile client for the Vercel platform. It allows you to browse projects, watch deployments, manage environment variables, and (on Pro) edit files in a connected GitHub repository. Iris is not built, owned, endorsed, or sponsored by Vercel Inc. or GitHub, Inc.
Iris functions by calling the Vercel and GitHub APIs on your behalf using credentials you provide. Your use of those underlying services is subject to their own terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
To use Iris you must (a) be at least 13 years old, (b) have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and (c) have an active Vercel account with a valid personal access token. You are responsible for keeping your tokens secure and for all activity that occurs through your device.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Pinnacle grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Iris on devices you own or control, solely for your own use of the Vercel platform.
4. Iris Pro subscription
- Iris Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold and billed exclusively through the Apple App Store (on iOS) and Google Play (on Android).
- Pricing displayed on this website is indicative; your store-localized price at checkout is the binding price.
- The subscription begins immediately on purchase (after any free trial offered by the store) and renews automatically until canceled by you.
- Cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Apple or Google according to their published policies. Pinnacle cannot directly issue refunds for store purchases.
- If you cancel, you keep access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period.
- Pinnacle may change Pro pricing or feature availability going forward. Changes will not retroactively affect the term you have already paid for.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Iris to access Vercel or GitHub resources you are not authorized to access.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Iris, except where this is permitted by applicable law that cannot be contractually waived.
- Use Iris to violate any applicable law, infringe a third-party right, or interfere with the Vercel or GitHub APIs (including by exceeding documented rate limits).
- Attempt to bypass paywalls, license checks, or other technical restrictions in the app.
6. Your content and credentials
Iris does not require you to upload content to any Pinnacle server. Any data you view, edit, or commit through the app belongs to you (or to the rightful owner of the underlying Vercel project or GitHub repository). You are solely responsible for the content of any commits you push, the environment variables you change, and the rollbacks you perform.
When you use the git editor, you authorize Iris to make changes to your GitHub repositories on your behalf using the token you provide. You should review changes carefully before pushing them — Pinnacle is not liable for accidental commits, rollbacks, or environment-variable changes you initiate through the app.
7. Third-party services
Iris is a client. It depends on the continued availability of the Vercel and GitHub APIs and the Apple App Store and Google Play. We have no control over those services and are not responsible for their outages, behavioral changes, or discontinuation. If Vercel or GitHub changes its API in a way that breaks part of the app, we will work to update Iris but cannot guarantee a particular timeline.
8. Intellectual property
Iris, including its source code, design, and branding, is the property of Pinnacle Parameters and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “Iris” and the Iris wordmark are trademarks of Pinnacle Parameters. “Vercel” and the Vercel triangle are trademarks of Vercel Inc. “GitHub” is a trademark of GitHub, Inc. These trademarks are used here under nominative fair use to describe interoperability and do not imply affiliation.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. Pinnacle does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINNACLE PARAMETERS AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST REVENUE — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN ANY CASE, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID PINNACLE FOR IRIS PRO IN THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY EUROS (€50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pinnacle Parameters from any claim, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, applicable law, or any third-party right.
12. Termination
You may stop using Iris at any time by deleting the app from your device and revoking the tokens you created. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms or use Iris in a way that risks harm to us, our other users, or the underlying Vercel or GitHub platforms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14) will do so.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Stockholm, Sweden, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Your continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
